You run. Someone else flies.
Every kilometre you run becomes a nautical mile. Every nautical mile becomes a euro for someone who needs to fly.

Why this exists
- 01
You do not need a licence.
Pilots, crew, engineers, controllers, and people who have never left the ground. If you move, you are in.
- 02
A 10K is 5.40 nautical miles.
Kilometres are forgettable. A nautical mile is a distance you can picture from a window seat, and this club counts them all the way to the next aerodrome.
- 03
Flying costs everything. Running costs nothing.
One hour in a 152 costs more than a year of shoes.
- 04
So the miles go somewhere.
Kč 25€1$1 a nautical mile, to people who fly others for free.
The conversion
You already ran it. Now find out what it is worth.
The converter needs JavaScript to do the arithmetic. Every other word on this site reads without it. A kilometre is 0.54 of a nautical mile, if you would rather do it by hand.
No entry
Put a distance in. The figures fill themselves.
Where it goes
You pick the cause. You give them the money.

Questions
The four we get asked most.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. There is no fee, no minimum and no qualifying pace.
The only money involved goes straight from you to a charity, and never through us.
Do I have to give Kč 25€1$1 a nautical mile?
No. Kč 25€1$1 is the anchor, not the rule.
Move the rate up, move it down, or set it to whatever this month allows. Nobody sees it but you.
Who holds the money?
Nobody here. Positive Rate does not collect, hold or process a single cent.
You pick a cause and give to them directly, on their own page. We do the arithmetic and the encouragement.
I am slow. Is that a problem?
No. We rank you against your own last month, never against the fastest person here.
A walk on a lunch break counts. So does a first 5K, and it gets the same response as an Ironman.
See you at the hold.
